We see the impact of men’s unexamined lives in the headlines every day as churches crumble, politics become more hostile, women share the truth, and marriages struggle. Father Rohr says that if we don’t transform our pain, we’ll transmit it.
We desperately need to confront the conflicts within if we are to contribute to peace in our marriages, homes, workplaces, and faith communities.
Journey Home: A Pilgrimage for Men is an intimate cohort for dominant-culture male faith leaders seeking wholeness (peace) in their identity, vocation, and leadership.
We trust that tending to this deep, internal work will directly impact how we embody equity, justice, and peace in our unique leadership contexts. We create space to evaluate our first half of life’s pursuit of “success” and discern how our second half of life might guide us down the path of descent toward our true self.
A world-class Faculty of Elders guides our learning, a Facilitation Team offers coaching and companionship, and the journey culminates with a pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago in Portugal and Spain.
