A Reminder of Why Global Immersion Exists

A Reminder of Why Global Immersion Exists

At this time of year, we like to pause and remember why we do what we do, and why so many of you have chosen to journey with us.

Across the United States, Christian leaders are confronting an intensifying crisis. Internally, many are reckoning with the divides within themselves: the dissonance between what they believe and what they are experiencing. Externally, they’re watching as division fractures their congregations, institutions, and broader contexts. They want to mend what’s broken but lack the knowledge and skills to do so. The result is alarming.

  • 70% of leaders lack confidence in managing conflict
  • 72% of churches are experiencing deep conflict
  • 9 in 10 pastors who are thinking of stepping away from their church name their inability to navigate conflict well as the primary cause

We’re witnessing a mass exodus of faith leaders, not because they lack conviction, but because they lack tools, community, and support. Many feel isolated, critiqued, and even ostracized for wondering aloud about how their faith intersects with the injustices and conflicts they observe.

Global Immersion exists for such a time as this. We are equipping Christian leaders with the tools to move toward the fractures, navigate conflict constructively, and guide their people to do the same. And, we’re forming a kindred community of leaders who stay, lead, and heal because they’re not alone and no longer afraid.

Thank you for being part of this movement toward peace. Your curiosity, your engagement, your prayers, and your financial partnership remind us that this work matters – perhaps now more than ever.
